Absolutely not! While technology can be confusing, logging into your session is an absolute breeze. You will be provided unique links for each appointment to your phone or email of choice. It's easier than you might think.
A typical session for an adult is 50 minutes. Younger children’s sessions range anywhere from 30-50 minutes depending on their ability to focus. When starting therapy, sessions are held once a week then adjusted to the frequency that is most appropriate for the goal.
While it is true that the ultimate goal of therapy is to help individuals improve their mental and emotional well-being, it is important to remember that mental health is an ongoing process. Just like physical health, mental health requires ongoing maintenance and care. For some individuals, therapy may be a short-term solution to address a specific issue or concern. For others, therapy may be a longer-term process to help manage chronic mental health conditions or to continue to work on personal growth and development. Ultimately, the decision to continue or end therapy should be made collaboratively between the individual and their therapist based on their progress and ongoing needs.
